Delizie is a Southern Italian restaurant located in San Carlos, created with the simple goal of making every guest feel at home—just like in a traditional Italian household. We are passionate about preparing delicious, authentic Italian dishes using the freshest ingredients, served in a warm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for sharing meaningful moments with family and friends.
Delizie is owned by Francesco Ruggiero, born in Scalea, Calabria, Italy. A professional musician, Francesco came to the United States to pursue his passion for music. Along the way, he found himself working in a restaurant, where he discovered a love for hospitality and learned the ins and outs of managing a business. That journey ultimately led him to open Delizie in 2012, bringing together his Italian roots, Family traditions, creativity, and dedication to creating a place where food, warmth, and community come together.
